When to Sow 'Carnival Mixed' Nemesia Seeds

February to April

Where to Sow

Sow the seeds in a good compost under glass at 15-18°C in trays or pots, cover lightly with sifted compost or vermiculite. Temperatures above 18°C will cause erratic germination.

What to do Next

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart, or even better, into modules to avoid later root disturbance. Gradually harden off and plant in flowering site 15cm (6") apart a the end of May.

Handy Tip

Nemesia do not like root disturbance, so module growing gives the best results. Quick to flower and will flower again later if cut back after the first display.
